Tony Brown is a native Californian. He grew up in San Diego, earned his Bachelor’s degree at UC Berkeley and received his law degree from UC Hastings College of the Law.

An accomplished attorney and past recipient of SuperLawyers' "Rising Stars" award, Mr. Brown's practice focuses primarily on advising clients as to real estate transactions, private placements, contracts and corporate governance. His clients operate within many industries, including: real-estate, entertainment, sports, non-profit, e-commerce, pharmaceuticals and mobile gaming/mobile applications. Mr. Brown has extensive experience representing clients in connection with financing and related securities matters. Mr. Brown also acts as “outside general counsel” for private companies, providing corporate and general company guidance. Mr. Brown's experience also includes general and complex business litigation in both state and federal court with respect to business, real estate and contract disputes.

Prior to founding Abrams Brown LLP, Mr. Brown spent seven years as an attorney in the Los Angeles office of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP. While with Quinn Emanuel, Mr. Brown worked on trial teams representing Fortune 100 companies in intellectual property, banking and mortgage backed securities matters. Mr. Brown also coordinated Quinn Emanuel’s debt recovery efforts, resulting in the collection of millions of dollars for the firm.

Mr. Brown, a past President of the Santa Monica Bar Association, is licensed to practice in all California state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. He enjoys golf, basketball and, most of all, spending time with his wife and sons.
